Kicking off "Should Be A Movie Trailer" Wednesdays

I'm going to try something just for my amusement (and hopefully that of my regular readers) - "It Should Be A Movie" Trailer Wednesdays.

Wherein I post the script for a trailer of something that should be a live action movie, IMAO. (Or at least, the thought of it as a movie amuses me so very much.)

So to start this one off...

THE MOVIE IT DEPICTS IS RATED R FOR "RAAAAAWKS!" - RESTRICTED TO AGE 17 OR ABOVE UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT for Some Sexual Situations, Fantasy Violence, Horrific Imagery and Comic Mischief

What it says.

What I would REALLY like to do for a recurring cosplay competition skit is the "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE!?" Galactic Tour.

See, the way I envision it, WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE!? is, in fact, the hottest band in our spiral (heh) arm of the galaxy. Made up of the following bandmembers:

Simon - Me. Lead singer, maybe keyboardist. Pre- or post-timeskip as the song warrants.

Kamina - Lead guitarist.

Yoko - Percussionist.

Viral - Bassist.

Nia - Backup singer. Unless we're doing "Libera Me" or sommat.

The entire act would be "the band" welcoming the conmembers to this concert of thier "final, Earth-based leg of WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE!?'s galactic tour," then playing a song from Gurren Lagann. (You are only pronouncing the band name correctly if you are shouting it with hot blood pulsing through your veins, FYI.)

As of right now, I'm just going to do the act with me as pre-timeskip Simon doing the shtick and launching into an English language renditon of "Color Of The Sky."

Chorus thereof:

I was such a fool
That I almost gave up
'fore I broke through to fin'lly see
the color of the sky!

And I will never see
a sight of such beauty
as you in the foreground
of that glorious blue sky-ay-ay! OH WOW I mixed up the third verse with the chorus. Me ar smrt.

...which may not be a literal translation, but I hope is at least on par with the work of Mr. "O! You Spoony Bard!" Woolsey. As opposed to being a Macekere.
