The game begun today. SO stoked.

Starting a new BS game, play-by-post on http://www.RPG.net, here: http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=412339 (you will need to log in to see it). It's called "Children of Children" Starring the kids of the first generation following them shooting the moon, literally.

It's temporarily closed, but due to the Demands of Plot, I'm going to have a mission introducing a Pilot lost in the wilderness, in an ANIMa (well, her resistance calls it an AEM-PC, Anti Exo-Morph Psychic Construct) that works, even though her Anchor ("Operator") was killed, for the group to rescue. Her name is Gabriel Winters. (http://lichifruit.livejournal.com - do not spoil the surprise. srsly.) So we could have someone jump in to play Gabby 3 missions in.

But that's not exactly why I'm posting.

I have drawings of the Pilots, which are awesome, and I will post them as soon as I get a scanner. I'm also doing pics of each pilot with their Anchor - so far I have Ariana and Casey, and Archer's next.

However, in these drawings, (Rising Hero) Jon Smith is black (well, half black - looks like a young Obama with an "Oh shit I think I am in love with (Carefree Hedonist)Casey but do not know how to tell her" expression). So is (the Innocent Sweetheart's) Anchor Jessica, for that matter.

I have 3 questions for you regarding that:


1 - Does this overly boggle your perception of all of them?
2 - At what point did I say that Sara's Anchor was white (or Asian, or Semetic, or Latino?)
3 - You did realize that by nature of the low income prereq, TIJCC students are mostly black (followed by white and Latino students with a substantial minority of Chinese exchange students)?

For extra credit, state in your own words why absolutely everyone thought that the Innocent Sweetheart template illo represented Sara Smith in particular, or indeed, that Sara was white (I usually have her and Derek explicitly black in the one-shot). Use examples.

What are your thoughts on this? I'm looking at tigerbunny, yeloson, Ben Lehman and the_tall_man in particular.
