If Akira says that I'm a good artist, and that this is a good picture, I'm not going to contradict him. I've been trying my hand at character design today, and, well... Say hello to Mio.
I spent all of four hours getting the pose right... she's going to be the main character in a ren-ai I'm making. Classic tsundere, but she has her reasons... slowly coming out of her shell from a painful childhood.
I have a few other designs, but they aren't as good.
After that I had lunch and I went out afterwards to get some Copic markers; I'm... not as good at color, but those are the right tools for the job, right? It was fun going through the aisles. I couldn't afford a lot, so I got like ten and a new thin pen. 0.7? That sounds right.
I ran into my sister there; she was surprised to see me. Shocked, actually; I told her I was doing some drawing. She wasn't happy about why, but she did tell me to keep at it.
I called Akira and asked him if he wanted to see my sketches and talk tomorrow. He does. He... also wants to take me to lunch. Eep. Good eep but eep.
When I went home, I went online to the site where I got most of the good freebie games from. It's been helpful: a lot of people think that the story is a good one, and have offered good suggestions, and some help programming. It doesn't need as much math as I was afraid of.
Tomorrow, what I'm afraid is a date and more design and scripting. I haven't felt this good in a long time.

The positive feedback loop of Hope Hope Rescuer Obsessions and Hope continues apace. Now, she will have her time eaten by programming and art rather than by playing games until her thumb falls off. It's a start.

NO THIS IS NOT HOW I GOT INTO RENPY GAMES HURF DURF. She certainly isn't going to http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewforum.php?f=4 because the forum she's going to is JAPANESE. Clearly.
