Drabble: Just As Planned

I'm going to be doing some K*S drabbles, one for each of the girls.
...yes, including Misha. There will be no "Isn't it sad, Misha?" on my part.
First one is below the cut.

Timeline: Takes place after the Shizune path in Act 1, not that this is important to the plot.
Notes: I am fully aware that Shizune converses in Japanese Sign Language; I don't know written or spoken Japanese worth a damn, much less signed Japanese. I do, however, know a little ASL, and where to learn more. Consider her to be conversing in JSL, dubbed into ASL. If that makes sense.
Exactly As Planned
Hisao is a challenge, my first in a long time.
I look intently at the board, the careful pawn walls. Hisao is good at chess; I can tell. He deliberates.
Then, with a single decisive motion, he takes his queen's knight and places it to thwart my best move.
...Four turns away.
I smile.
With my ring and middle finger, I grasp the king's castle. I leave my index, pinky, and thumb outstreched, signing "I love you" to Hisao as I castle, though he cannot know that.
He looks at the board, and smiles.
I will checkmate him in five moves.
