...went to http://www.babynames.com, as I wanted Anna Lin in BS: Visual Stage (jus another raging fanboy/viral marketing project, which I credit for Ben earning at least $26.00 less IPR's commission). This was because
A) I wanted her to have a Chinese name to whisper in Josh's ear at around Interlude 3 (along with the words "Woah (sic) Ai Ni" at around interlude 7) and
B) I wanted said name to be Made Of Irony.
This ruled out Jie Li, as that meant "Good and Beautiful" and... well, in this particular Not Anymore Canon Than Any Other Bliss Stage Game, she is both good and beautiful, if also a Broken Bird (Tv Tropes it) and card-carrying Defrosting Ice Queen. Settled on Jie, which means "Pure." (Which she isn't. In any Bliss Stage game.)
However, I got curious, and searched the other names. And...
Anna = Pure
Derek = Lord of the People
Joshua = God Will Protect
Jim = James = Supplanter
Keenan = Son Of A Beauty
Sarah = Princess
Ben Lehman! You DELIBERATELY PICKED meaningful names, didn't you? ^_^
Also, random game ideas.
Mortal Gods - 4.0 D&D. The PC's are the people who the legends of Pelor, and Corellon, and Sehanine, and all the rest were based on, while the human empire was a gleam in a lord's eye and Arkhosia and Bael Turath have yet to come to blows.
Spirit of the Strange Aeon - Remarkably easy CthulhuTech port to FATE 3.0. The History/Aspect phases become:
1 - The Nazzadi Invasion
2 - The Reconstruction
3 - The Aeon War Begins
4 - Original Video Animation #1
5 - Original Video Animation #2.
